A Wish is NOT a Goal...

So many times we think we are "goal minded" and have well established goals when we are sadly mistaken.  You see, a goal is only a goal "IF" it is written.  Somehow when you write out your intentions with a few details you are taking a thought and making it a commitment.

There are several components required in formulating goals.  The outline is as follows:

TO:
SO THAT:
BY:
TIME:
STEPS:

An example of this might be...
TO: start a Blog
SO THAT: I can share with others insights and experiences that I have learned over my years
BY: providing creative entries including mixed media art tutorials, photos of my artwork, words of wisdom, inspirational insights, prayers, etc
TIME: By March 1, 2011
STEPS:
  • research blog sites
  • determine what your bog theme and concept
  • determine your blog name
  • select a blog sight
  • design blog site
  • make first blog entry
  • let others know about your new blog

So, now you have the basic outline for writing a goal. When you do these simple steps you increase the propbability of achieving your desired outcome.  Go ahead and write a very simple goal that can be accomplished within 24 hours.
  IT WORKS!
