- My dad turned 92 years old on June 6 and we had a Birthday Card Party for him. I asked friends and family to send him a birthday card throughout the entire month of June. Wow! the response was overwhelming. He was so excited. Thanks so much to everyone who participated.
- I start working for Kelly Services as a Temp. I really like the Troy Kelly Services staff. I was assigned to a mortgage company and that assignment was very unrewarding and humiliating. I was tired of the disrespect and nightmares and anxiety so I removed myself from the assignment making me "JOBLESS".
- After resigned I went to visit dad in New Jersey for a week. I had such a wonderful time. My dad is so fun to be with. We shopped and went to a Caribbean Party and attended church and ate Chinese take out and cooked and did quite a few things. He is so vivacious and I love him so much.
- Upon returning from N.J. I spent weeks unemployed with $0.00 income. Fear started to come in like a flood. I am working a very short term (8 days) assignment at a large Jewish synagogue helping the director with both High Holy Holidays; Rosha Shana and Yom Kippor. It has been an amazingly wonderful experience.
- OH! I forgot to let you know that I celebrated my 55th birthday on July 28th. It was pretty uneventful except my dad sent me 2 birthday cards and one really expressed his deepest sentiments, which made me cry like a baby. Also my team at the mortgage company gave me a party at the office.
- For my birthday, I did what is called the "big chop" by cutting all my hair off. The hair and the relaxer are GONE! I am getting so many compliments. after a month my hair is beginning to understand that I am the boss. lol. I like my new look and feel much more confident with short short hair.
Please keep me in your prayers especially for employment immediately here in Michigan and also in North Carolina so that I can relocate. Please also pray for my Brother-in-law Michael who has been sick. He truly needs our faith-filled prayers.
